Mazur Shlomi

An immigrant to the United States in her early thirties, Yuliya (Yehudit) comes from the Former Soviet Union where she had no Jewish education, but always had the desire to learn about her people. Apart from an MA from Russia, she had also graduated with an MA from Gratz College and later from The Touro Graduate School for Jewish Studies. For the last 20 years, Yuliya has been involved with volunteer work for the Russian Jewish community as well as mainstream American Jewish organizations. Yuliya is teaching freelance at several JCCs and JFBs around the country.
