This year, Yeshivat Maharat reached an historic milestone: 100 ordained graduates. One-hundred bold, compassionate, brilliant women who are reshaping Jewish leadership across the world—from pulpits to classrooms, from hospitals to Hostage Square.
But this isn’t the finish line. It’s mile marker 100, and we are determined to keep going. We are celebrating this moment not just because of what we have achieved but because of what is possible. We are on the road to 100 more.
At Maharat, we believe that every community deserves a leader who serves the Jewish people with the highest level of halakhic and pastoral leadership. We also believe that in order to raise the next generation of female Orthodox leaders, it is critical that our communities see women as rabbis: because girls cannot be what they cannot see.
The future of Orthodoxy is here. Rooted, rigorous, and relevant.
