Dear Friends,

Just a few weeks ago, we wrote to you to cancel our public Semikha Ceremony. As the days went on, we came to understand that even in the midst of these unprecedented times, a celebration of our graduates, women's leadership and Torah would actually nourish the community and provide hope to us all.

So, we are thrilled to share that we will, in fact, host a public Semikha Ceremony - virtually! Join us on June 9, 2020 at 4pm EST at www.yeshivatmaharat.org/semikha to hear from each of our graduates and celebrate together. These nine musmakhot will then join our dynamic cohort of 34 alumnae in their vital work in education, pastoral support, and communal leadership. Please read more about these remarkable leaders below.

We hope you will take a moment now to help us recognize the class of 2020 with a contribution to support Maharat's future. We welcome you to include a message of encouragement or mazal tov to the graduates, which will be included in our online journal.

With Gratitude,

Rabba Sara Hurwitz
