Meira Wolkenfeld
Advanced Kollel: Executive Ordination, Class of 2024

Originally from Sacramento, CA, Meira currently resides in Washington Heights where she is writing her doctoral dissertation in Talmud at the Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies at Yeshiva University. Her project examines the role of the sense of smell in the world of the Babylonian Talmud. She holds an M.A. in Talmud from Revel and a B.A. in Ancient Near Eastern Studies from UCLA. She has also studied at the Graduate Program in Advanced Talmudic Studies (GPATS) at Stern College and at Midreshet Lindenbaum; and taught at Nyack College, the Drisha High School Program, and in different synagogues.
