Jakobovits

Shoshana is a software engineer, occasionally a teacher and consistently a wholehearted Jewish learner from Geneva, Switzerland. She studied at Ein haNatziv, Hadar and the Center for Modern Torah Leadership and is passionate about the places where life meets text, with a particular interest in the process of psak. She has been teaching Jewish texts in adult education settings in her community and to high school students in a Jewish after-school program as well as teaching bnot-mitzvah to leyn Megilah and Torah. Shoshana holds a Bsc. in Physics from EPFL and an Msc. in Computational Sciences and Engineering from ETHZ. When she’s not in the Beit Midrash, Shoshana expresses her love for text by working as a software engineer in natural language processing at Google AI Research. She lives in Zurich, Switzerland with her spouse Michael, where they can be found hiking and spending time in the mountains.
